WHY IS THE ROTARY CLUB OF BARTRAM TRAIL – JULINGTON CREEK DOING A VIRTUAL MARATHON?   

Normally we would have rocking fundraisers in person, but since COVID19 we were influenced to go virtual. The beauty of this event is you can now include your family and friends from all over the country to participate and share their journey using #BartramTrailRotaryMarathon  

WHAT DO I GET FOR THE $75 ENTRY FEE?

You get entry to the “My 26.2 Within 26.2” virtual marathon, the official Sport-Tek Dri-Fit t-shirt, finisher “Conquerors” medal, and donation to Homeless Coalition of St. Johns on your behalf.

DO I HAVE TO RUN A MARATHON (26.2) AT ONE TIME?

No!  You have 26.2 days or 26.2 weeks to run, walk, jog, or bike 26.2 miles.  Do it at your own pace!  Track your journey with us with pictures. Get creative! Include your special furry friend, dress in wacky outfits, or just show us a view from your world as you run and post on Facebook and Instagram social media using #BartramTrailRotaryMarathon

HOW DO I TRACK MY PROGRESS?

The completion of the marathon is on the honor system.  No need to submit your time. Keep track on any fitness device you want.  We do want you to share your journey anywhere by posting to Facebook and Instagram using #BartramTrailRotaryMarathon  

WHEN MUST I COMPLETE MY MARATHON? 

You have 26.2 weeks beginning January 1st, 2022 to complete your marathon.  When you finish your marathon within 26.2 weeks, you can share your medal with pride with your friends and family on social media using #BartramTrailRotaryMarathon

CAN I UPDATE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?  

If your gear has NOT been mailed out yet, we are happy to assist you with updating your shipping address. Just shoot us an email at btrotary.president@gmail.com and we are happy to make that change.     

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY? 

At this time, shipping is only available to addresses in the United States.  

WHO BENEFITS FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE VIRTUAL MARATHON?

The proceeds will go to Homeless Coalition of St. Johns located in St. Augustine, Florida. This organization provides innovative programs to assist the most chronic homeless families with children in Florida’s St. Johns County to get off the street and on the road to self-sufficiency..  Support is needed now more than ever during this global pandemic!

WHAT DO I GET FOR SPONSORSHIP?   

There are three tiers of sponsorships:

PLATNIUM title sponsor for $5,000 includes Premium placement on running shirt & all promotional items in the goody bag. That includes 15 complimentary entries to the run with the t-shirt and medal for each entry! 

GOLD title sponsor for $2,500 includes the most prominent placement of your logo on all t-shirts, on the website, social media and 10 complimentary entries to the run with the t-shirt and medal for each entry!  

SILVER sponsors for $1,000 includes prominent placement of your logo on all t-shirts, on the website, social media and 5 complimentary entries to the marathon with a t-shirt and medal for each entry.

BRONZE sponsors for $500 includes placement of your logo on all t-shirts, website, social media and 2 complimentary entries to the run with a t-shirt and medal.

For your logo to be placed on the shirts, orders must be placed by December 1st, 2021.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MY GEAR HAS SHIPPED? 

You will receive an email once your gear has shipped! You will receive two shipments.  The first shipment will be mailed after registration ends. Within a few months after that day, you will be notified when your medal is shipped!   

CAN I COMPLETE MY VIRTUAL RUN BEFORE I RECEIVE MY GEAR? 

Yes! You do not have to wait to receive your gear in the mail.  However, when you do receive your gear, you can rock your gear and share it on social media using #BartramTrailRotaryMarathon    

CAN I GET A REFUND?  

Refunds are not allowed for the virtual marathon.  Don’t worry though!  Your donation will be going for a good cause!  

CAN I CHANGE MY SHIRT SIZE ONCE RECEIVED? 

Once you receive your shirt, we will be unable to accommodate exchanges.
